Little Minds Thriving

Mental health professionals dedicated to the promotion of the importance of early relationships in lifelong health and wellbeing.

We support parents, educators and schools to build emotionally healthy, connected children.

Early Childhood Education Workshops

Educators are critical in early mental health of children under 5. With growing pressure on educators we offer key information and strategies to support their work with babies and young children. Tailored to the specific needs of your centre, this workshop supports your educators to understand the neurobiology of attachment, and the importance of relationships. We also discuss how you connect, and how to manage when connection is difficult to develop and maintain. Using a strengths-based approach, we deliver an energetic and interactive workshop - contact us to discuss how we can work together.

Parent Workshops & Group Programs

The demands on parents of infants and young children are high, and can often leave well meaning parents feeling stressed or overwhelmed. We have developed Blueprints Parenting Program - a 6 week program focusing on building your parenting ‘map’. With two highly experienced mental health professionals we support parents to explore who they are, what they bring to parenting and how they want to show up for their kids. Bookings are ongoing - please contact us to register your interest!

Consultation

Our two highly experienced infant mental health clinicians are available for consultation to organisations and services interested in finding out more about the importance of relationships in building brains of infants and young children. We are able to offer tailored workshops for your organisation, as well as 1-1 or group supervision.

Who
we are

Little Minds Thriving is made up of two highly experienced Infant Mental Health Clinicians - Clare Pollock and Meredith Reid. Clare and Meredith are both Mental Health Social Workers, and have a wide range of experience in government and Non-government settings. They are passionate about infant mental health and promoting the importance of early relationships with infants and children under 5 to support their emotional, social and physical development and wellbeing.

Thank you, Clare and Meredith for the workshop on Infant Mental Health.  We all enjoyed the session and found it very informative.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on your key points and how we make a difference with every single child's wellbeing and how Early Childhood Educators play a critical role. After every thing our industry has been through recently it was also a powerful affirmation of the importance of our job and the value of our work and the effort we put in everyday to provide high quality care and education for the children.

Also a timely reminder on R U OK Day, to look after ourselves and to continue to look after each other.

We enjoyed your humour and appreciated you sharing your own experiences as a Parent and as a mental Health Clinician.  We have lots to reflect on.  Thank you so much for resources and referral options.”

"Clare’s professional development session was insightful, engaging, and incredibly valuable. Her deep understanding of infant mental health and the importance of relationships in early development has empowered our team with practical tools and a renewed sense of purpose in our work. I highly recommend her sessions to anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their practice.

The staff felt incredibly engaged, and I heard a lot of great feedback about how your approach made complex concepts around infant mental health feel so accessible and actionable. The practical tips and strategies you shared will certainly help us build even stronger relationships with the children we work with, which is always our main focus. Everyone left feeling inspired and more confident in their ability to nurture the little ones in their care”.

-Centre Coordinator, Woodlands Early Education Centre (December 2025).

Our Educators gained a lot of knowledge from the training Infant Mental Health the importance of connection in the early years and now have the understanding why it is so important to form positive relationships and engage with children.  The training provided time to discuss and reflect on practices and supported educators to work together to create a shared goal.
Thank you so much for the training.  It was very refreshing.
